Elliott Parker is the managing director of business design for High Alpha, a venture studio where enterprise software companies are created and funded. Parker and his team are primarily responsible for designing, validating, and launching new startups, often with corporate partners as co-founders and investors. Prior to his current role, he worked in corporate ventures, strategy consulting, and as an entrepreneur to bring new ideas to market.

Most recently, Parker was a consultant at Innosight, the strategy firm founded by Clayton Christensen, where they helped companies develop innovation capabilities, design growth strategies, and launch new ventures. Early in his career, Parker became interested in the application of disruptive innovation while working as a consultant to large corporations, helping them develop alternative uses for their intellectual property. Later, as manager of new ventures for a global medical device firm, he helped pilot several innovative corporate startups. As a strategy and innovation consultant, he advised more than three dozen clients around the world, in industries including consumer goods, healthcare, chemicals, financial services, and higher education.
